The officers of detectives division of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Zurab G. (DoB 1963) for committing premeditated murder in aggravating circumstances.
Investigation established that on May 12, approximately at 23:00 detainee inflicted multiple injuries with a firearm to Elvar M. (DoB 1976) and Ioseb Tch (DoB 1975) on the basis of conflict in Lisi Lake settlement and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received injuries victims died shortly after they were transferred to the hospital.
Zurab G. was detained by the law enforcers in several hours after the crime took place. During the personal search and searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized weapons of murder-Bereta and TT pistols with bullets and cartridges.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder of two or more individuals, article 109 of the Criminal Code.
