The officers of Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Main Division along with Gldani-Nadzaladevi police, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Levan K. (DoB 1988) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that late at night on November 11 detainee inflicted multiple body injuries with a knife to Beqa B. (DoB 1991) on the basis of conflict in his own place of temporary residence located on Pekini Street. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime. Investigation also established that conflict started for the certain amount of cash which was borrowed by the victim from Levan K. several months ago. After committing the murder Levan K. started fire in the apartment for concealing the traces of crime and fled afterwards.
Law enforcers detained Levan K. two days later and seized the weapon of murder as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
