The officers of detectives dividion of Tbilisi Police Main Division and Isani-Samgoori police division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Sergo A. (DoB 1981) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that in the evening of March 14 detainee inflicted multiple injuries with a cold steel to Ana Ovanesian (DoB 1989) on the basis of jealousy. Due to the received traumas the victim died on the territory of public school N180, where the crime took place.
As a result of immediate operative activities detainee was taken under arrest in several hours. The weapon of crime was also seized by police.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
