Based of the police report, the officers of Akhaltsikhe police division of Mtskheta-Mtianeti police department detained three persons – G.K. (DoB 1995) I.B. (DoB 1984) and L.B. (DoB 1994) for hooliganism and disobedience to the rightful demand of the law enforcers.
Investigation established that on November 9 of the current year, being under the influence of alcohol, the above mentioned persons went to one of the Turkish bars located in “Station Settlement”, Akhaltsikhe. As soon as they entered the bar, they verbally and physically assaulted Georgian and Turlish citizens. During the incident, one of the Turkish citizens sustained head trauma. Regarding the mentioned fact Akhaltsikhe police division of Mtskheta-Mtianeti police department was informed.
Young people did not obey to the rightful repeated demand of police to preserve order. They verbally assaulted policemen and as a result they were detained at the place under the Code of Administrative Offences, under the article 173 (disobedience to the police).
In connection with the mentioned fact medical expertise was appointed and witnesses interrogated.
All of the detainees were placed by police at Akhaltsikhe temporary detention isolator, where they have undergone medical examination. One of the detainees – G.K. demanded to be additionally examined. Therefore, he was taken to Akhaltsikhe hospital where underwent detailed examination, including computer tomography, which proved that it has neither health-related problems nor injuries. At this moment has been transferred to Akhaltsikhe regional court, where trial regarding his case is in progress.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of hooliganism, article 239 of the Criminal Code.
