Officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division and Bagdati Police Division of MIA as a result of jointly conducted investigation activities detained Goderzi Ts. (Dob 1988) for illegal cutting of tree and bush plants.
The law enforcers detained above mentioned person when he transported illegally cut timber in Tsitelkhevi village, Bagdati district. Law enforcers managed to seize illegally cut timber loaded on the truck owned by detainee.
Investigation established that two weeks before detention Godersi TS. illegally cuted 8 chestnut trees and transported parts of timber to the wood-working shop located in Tsitelkhevi village and after that in order to further realization he transported timber to the wood-working shops located in Kutaisi.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal cutting of wood, article 303 of the Criminal Code
