The officers of Old Tbilisi Police Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Aleksanadre E. (DoB 1995) for production and selling of forged currency.
Law enforcers detained the mentioned person for in Tbilisi, on Tsusrtumia Street in particular in the moment of trying to purchase tobacco with the forged currency. During the personal search police seized forged 556 thousand Russian Ruble (equivalent to 17 850 GEL) and forged Georgian currency in the amount of 20 Gel. During the searching activities held in the detainee’s vehicle police seized color printer.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of production and selling of forged currency, article 212, I part of the Criminal Code.
