The officers of Gurjaani police division of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained Giorgi K. (DoB 1977) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee made several shots in vicinities of the house of Avtandil K. in Shshiani village on the basis of conflict, as a result of which Avtandil K. dctim’ied at the place of crime, while victim’s sonValeri K. (DoB 2000) and their neighbor Akaki Ch. (DoB 1954) were wounded. Giorgi K. managed to flee from the place of crime. Wounded persons have been transferred to the Gurjaani regional hospital. At this stage their condition of health is stable.
As a result of of immediate operative-investigative activities police seized Giorgi K. several hours laterin Kalauri village. Weapon of crime-“Makarov” type pistol was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
