The officers of Shida Kartli police department along with the Gori police division as a result of the immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained several rimes convicted in past Ilia G. (DoB 1989) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted multiple injuries with a cold steel to also previously convicted Dato S. (DoB 1979) on the basis of conflict and fled from the place of crime. The victim died before he was transferred to the hospital.
Police officers detained Ilia G. several hours later in Gori. The weapon of murder was seized as evidence from the place of crime. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
