The officers of Shida Kartli Regional Main Division and Gori regional division as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained Gela V. (DoB 1980) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that in the village of Plavismani detainee inflicted lethal injuries in chest area to his co-villager Gela G. and his brother Badri G. and left the crime scene. Gela G. died at the place of crime while Badri G. has undergone urgent surgery and his condition of health is satisfactory at the moment.
Law enforcers managed to detain the offender an hour later after the crime took place in vicinities of Plavi village. During the searching activities held in gela V’s house policemen seized the weapon of murder-knife as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 which envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
