The officers of Tbilisi Police Main Division, along with Vake-saburtalo police, as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities detained Elguja Ts. (DoB 1991) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on December 24 detainee, on the basis of conflict caused by jealousy, inflicted multiple injuries to Phariz Sharipov with a cold steel in vicinities of “Astoria” hotel and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received traumas the victim died at the place of crime.
Law enforcers managed to seize the weapon of crime as evidence.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress under the article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
