The officers of Ajara division of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of investigatiave and searching activities held on the basis of operative information detained convicted in the past Mindia J. (DoB 1983) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities in Batumi.
During the searching activities of detainee, law enforcers seized 75 pills of subutex drug and several pieces of the same narcotic. According to the results of expertise the seized drug contains 0,7243 gr of buprenorphine.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty. Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
