As a result of operative-investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, the officers of Kakheti regional police division detained Vugar A. (Dob 1984) detained for illicit sowing, growing and cultivating plants containing narcotics in especcially large quantities.
Investigation established that detainee made special greenhouse located at Uzuntala village, Lagodekhi in which he managed to produce and cultivated illicit cannabis. During the searching activities held in the garden plot of detainee the law enforcers seized 5 tons and 287 kg of of cannabis.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of Illicit Sowing, Growing or Cultivating of Plant Containing Narcotics in especially large quantities, article 265, III part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
