The officers of Marneuli Regional Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the MIA, as a result of investigational measures carried out on the basis of an operative information detained in Marneuli previously convicted N.A. (D.o.B.: 1983) for illegal purchase and storage of drugs in particularly large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee and search of his house the law enforcers seized narcotic substance in 33 packages, which according to expertise decision contains 9,1097 gr of heroin. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress over the fact of illegal purchase and storage of drugs in particularly large quantities (sub clause “a” of the VI part of the article 260, the Criminal Code of Georgia).
