The officers of Division for Combat Against Cybercrime of Central Criminal Police Department of MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Mikheil N (Dob 1992) and Bachana A. (Dob 1994) on the fact of extortion.
Investigation established that detainees extorted 650 GEL under the threats and intimidation from Avtandil Sh. (Dob 1995) several times.
Investigation also established that Mikheil M. forced Avtandil Sh. hand him notebook owned by his friend which he took to the pawn shop and mortgaged for 200 GEL as well as Bachana A. in addition tried to extor 900 GEL from Avtandil Sh.
The law enforcers as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Mikheil N. in Mukhiani settlement, Tbilisi as well as Bachana A. at Gorisjvari street, Gori. As a result of the personal search of Mikheil N. the law enforcers seized 300 GEL as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of extortion by group, article 180 II part “a” sub-paragraph.
