The officers of central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative, searching and investigative activities detained five members of the so called thieves’ world: Levan Q. (DoB 1989), Londer M. (DoB 1980), Khvicha L. (DoB 1974) Otar S. (DoB 1985) and Davit Ch. (DoB 1988).
Investigation established that detainees confirmed to be the members of the so called thieves’ world, were linked with criminal authorities and fulfilled their orders.
During the detainees’ personal search and searching activities held in their houses law enforcers seized documents of data of citizens, 10 000 GEL Kalashnikov type AKM automatic weapon of Kalashnikov construction, Mauzer pistol and 107 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of membership of the thieves’ world, illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, articles 2231 and 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
