The officers of Rustavi division of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained two minors- Beka O. (DoB 2003) and Zaza S. (DoB 2001) in Rustavi for theft.
Investigation established that on February 22 detainees penetrated the church located in Rustavi and stole 420 from the box of donations. Investigation also established that while entering the church detainees broke two icons, which they hid of the church roof. Law enforcers managed to return the damaged icons to the church.
According to the acting legislation under aged detainees were released under a subscription. They have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft, article 177, II part, sub-paragraph B of the Criminal Code.
