Officer of Dmanisi police division of Kvemo Kartli police department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained previously convicted T.R. (DoB 1976) for illegal purchase, keeping and transit of drugs.
Law enforcers detained T.R. on Tbilisi-Guguti highway when he was moving to the direction of Marneuli in a car. During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized 0,13 gr of heroin containing substance. As a result of search activities held in detainee’s house policemen also seized 15 packages of drug, containing 6,0509gr of heroin and 10,0445gr. of heroin containing substance.
Drug test revealed that T.R. was under the influence of drugs in the moment of his detention.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and transit of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
