The officers of the division for the fight against the illegal circulation of drugs under the Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of the searching-investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Giorgi M. (DoB 1985) for the drug-related crime.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 82 pills and 2 pieces of buprenorphine. It was established that detainee imported the drug from the Republic of Turkey.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and illegal import of drugs on the territory of Georgia, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A and araticle IV, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
