The officers of Tbilisi Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained M.K. (DoB 1998) and G.G. (DoB 1997) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that M.K. and her friend G.G. inflicted lethal injuries to her grandfather J.K. (DoB 1940). The mentioned fact took place on April 9 in the victim’s apartment located on Budapest Street. Detainees, in order to hide the traces of crime set the apartment on fire and fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained M.K. and G.G. in Tbilisi. Both of them have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances, article 109 of the Criminal Code.
