The officers of Achara Regional Main Division of Kobuleti Main Division of Mukhaestate unit as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Tamaz J (DoB 1986) for illegal keeping of armament and explosives in Kobuleti.
The law enforcers seized 32 kg. of TNT, 18 capsule-detonators and 30 meters of fuse as a result of searching activities carried out at the storeroom of the detainee’s house located in village Kvirike, Kobuleti region. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
