Representatives of European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to Georgia - Maris Domini and Victor Brandt visited MIA Emergency Management Department and held introductory meeting. Guests were met by Director of Emergency Management Department Zviad Katsashvili and his Deputies- Levan Buighlishvili and Giorgi Gazdeliani.
During the meeting representatives of EUMM received comprehensive information on Department functions and missions as well as on legislation in the sphere of emergency management and institutional structure. Zviad Katsashvili also discussed already implemented and ongoing reforms held in the Department and reviewed prospects for future co-operation.
By the end of the meeting Director of the Department awarded guests with symbolic gifts.
