The officers of Imereti, Racha-Leckhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division and Patrol Police Department of Imereti Main Division have donated blood for children suffering from Leukemia.
Mia police officers have been participating in “Donate Blood Save Life” project already for 10 months. According to the latest data up to 3000 police officers donated blood for children suffering from Leukemia.
Aim of the project is to reduce lack of blood and blood components necessary for children with leukemia, with the assistance of employees of the Ministry.
Similar events will be held on the regular basis, every Sunday in various regions of the country.
