On March 4, at 10 am, the annual Conference “Women in Police” has been launched in Tbilisi, Radisson Blue Iveria, The Conference is regional and organized with cooperation of the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Conference is held annually in March and aims to develop the qualification of law enforcers and emphasize the role of females in police.
The Conference was welcomed by the Minister Aleksandre Tchikaidze, by U.S. Charge d’Affaires Ms. Bridget Brink and INL representative Michael Turner.
The conference is attended by Georgian female law enforcers and their colleagues from: Armenia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kirgizstan.
Conference will last till March 6, 2014.
