Mr. Besik Amiranashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs along with other officials of the Ministry is paying an official visit to the French Republic.
Within the frames of the visit Mr. Besik Amiranashvili held the first meeting at the Ministry of Interior of France. The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Mr. Ivane Papiashvili, the Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA held a meeting with Mireille Ballestrazzi, the Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of France and Pascal Lalle, the Director of the Public Security Department.
At the meeting the sides discussed the situation related to fight against organized and transnational crime as well as the achievement of cooperation of the law enforcement agencies of the both countries; also, the issues of sharing experience and further promotion of the existing relations were discussed and agreed.
