Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Levan Izoria took part in consultative meeting held in connection with the national strategy draft on prevention of violence. Participants of the meeting discussed draft on prevention of violence.
The event was opened by Sopio Japaridze- Assistant to the Prime Minister in the Human Rights and Gender Equality affairs and Erika Kvapilova- representative of UN Women organization. Levan Izoria introduced national strategy draft on prevention of violence to participants of the meeting and held discussion afterwards.
In the discussion of national strategy draft on prevention of violence, members of parliament, representatives of academic society, UN agencies, international and non-governmental organizations took part.
The meeting was held under the initiative of the Prime Minister’s administration and Ministry of Internal Affairs with technical support of the UN Women organization.
