The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili held a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of France to Georgia, Mr. Pascal Meunier. The meeting was introductory and the Minister touched upon issues like activities and accomplished and ongoing reforms of the Ministry according to the Euro Atlantic integration agenda.
Mr. Mghebrishvili noticed with appreciation tight cooperation between French and Georgian law enforcement agencies and expressed gratitude toward the French Embassy and the Office of the Security Attache for its constant support of ministries capacity building. With the support of the Embassy, parties elaborate and implement cooperation program annually, according to the competence of the Ministry.
