Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri attended presentation of the updated Public Safety Management Center.
“Joint Operations Center and “112” have been merged. Joint Operations Center conducts monitoring of the surveillance cameras installed throughout the country including the capital, regions and highways. As for the “112” service, you already know its functions. I think that operation will be more successful and quick which is the most important aspect for such service.
Each second and minute has a crucial meaning, when it comes to the emergency call, whether it will be a call for medical aid, fire-rescue assistance or police- directed request. In such moments dispatching crews on time is all that matters. In the following presentation we will witness what has changes and what novelties are yet to come.
I would like to congratulate everyone, new and old employees. I wish you all success and express my gratitude for the cooperation and coordination. I would also like to wish success to Mr. Giorgi”- stated the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs, heads of various departments, representatives of services operating in the same field and international partner organizations.
