The deputy director of the Patrol Police Department - Kakha Bukhradze, the deputy director of the Service Agency - Imeda Makasarashvili and the head of the department for combating trafficking and illegal migration under the Central Criminal Police Department - Tornike Marsagishvili, visited the youth camp in Anaklia and met with juveniles in the camp within the framework of the "Befriend the police" campaign and held an informative meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise awareness among teenagers on public safety and law of law.
The guests provided approximately 300 juveniles with information on various important and relevant topics related to the rule of law, what’s the eligible age and how to receive a driver's license, information was provided on traffic and civil safety issues, as well as on methods of combating trafficking. The meeting was held in Q&A format.
The youth camp operates with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia. The camp program duration is seven days long. Young people have the opportunity to engage in recreational, sports and cognitive activities focused on developing basic competencies.
