Within the framework of the information-cognitive campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", meetings in schools in the regions continue. This time, the representatives of the Ministry held meetings with pupils in public schools N1 and N2 of Ambrolauri in Racha.
The goal of informational meetings is to raise awareness among children and juveniles on public safety and rule of law, as well as prevention of crimes committed by and against minors.
Employees of the Patrol Police, Criminal Police, Public Safety Command Center "112", Emergency Situations Management Service, and the Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department provided minors with information on various topics relevant to them regarding law and order, including children's rights, early marriage and on its harm, bullying, violence and organized crime. At the meetings, the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented special video depicting the activities of various structural units of the Ministry.
The meetings were held in Q&A format. The law enforcement officers provided answers to all topical questions.
