Within the framework of the information and awareness campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", a public event is taking place in Telavi, in vicinity of the Erekle II Palace.
Heads of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Aladashvili- the governo of Kakheti region, and Levan Andriashvili, the Mayor of Telavi, are attending the event.
Within the framework of the "Befriend the Police" campaign, various educational and entertainment activities are held in Telavi. The guests who came to the event will get acquainted with the activities of the Patrol Police, Public Safety Command Center "112", Service Agency, Forensic-criminalistics Department, Border Police, Emergency Situations Management Service, Security Police and Special Tasks Department. They will also be able to view special equipment and machinery of these mentioned units.
juveniles and children, together with the employees of the Ministry, participate in various cognitive and entertainment activities and receive interesting information on issues related to the rule of law.
It is notable that in parallel with the public events, informative and cognitive meetings are held in schools, within the framework of which the representatives of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide students with information on law and order on the topics they are interested in. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness among children and juveniles on public safety and rule of law.
