A public event was held in the Central Park on Borjomi within the framework of the information and awareness campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police".
Giorgi Bukhrashvili, director of Samtskhe-Javakheti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Temur Mghebrishvili, director of the Emergency Situations Management service, Otar Arbolishvili, Mayor of Borjomi municipality, and heads of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attended the event.
Within the framework of the "Befriend the Police" campaign, various entertainment and educational activities were held in Borjomi.
The guests who came to the event had the opportunity to get familiarized with the activities of the Public Safety Command Center "112", Service Agency, Emergency Situations Management Service, Patrol Police, Border Police, Forensic-criminalistics Department, Security Police and Special Tasks Department, as well as view the equipment of the mentioned units.
Children had the opportunity to participate in various entertaining and educational activities with the representatives of the Ministry.
As part of the campaign, the visits of the representatives of MIA units to schools also continue. Information-cognitive meetings are held with pupils, the purpose of which is to raise awareness among children and juveniles on public safety and rule of law.
