In connection with the charity marathon, Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to inform citizens that on October 25 from 05:00 till 14:00 with the aim to preserve public order and safety, the traffic movement will be restricted in certain districts. Charity marathon will start at 10:00 on Rustaveli Avenue, in vicinities of the first classical Gymnasium. The marathon will be comprised of two circles.
The following streets will be closed in connection with the mentioned activity: Krtsanisi Square-the traffic will be moving to the direction of the Ortachalhes on the left side of the River Mtkvari. Traffic movement will also be restricted in vicinities of the Philharmonic Hall, to the direction of Rustaveli Avenue. Traffic movement will be allowed from P. Melikishvili Street to the direction of the M. Kostava Street. Crossing point of King Tamar and David the Builder Avenues will also be closed for movement to the direction of Marjanishvili metro station as well as Tsinamzgvrishvili, Aghmashenebeli and adjacent streets. Traffic movement will be restricted on Freedom Square, at the beginning of Pushkin street and on all nearby streets.
During the marathon drivers will be allowed to move on the following streets:
• Traffic movement from Sololaki to Kote Abkhazi Street will be allowed by crossing Asatiani and Tumaniani streets which will lead to Gorgasali Square and continue movement on Gorgasali Street and Krtsanisi Quare.
• Traffic moving to Vake-Saburtalo will be using Tchonkakdze Street.
• Traffic from Griboedov Street will continue movement on partially closed Rustaveli Avenue to the direction of the Philharmonic Hall.
• Traffic moving on Baratashvili street will continue movement to Tabukashvili street to the direction of Radison Blu Iveria hotel and favorable route afterwards.
• Traffic moving on Ushangi Chkheidze Street will continue movement on Galaktioni Bridge, leading to the right side of the River Mtkvari to the direction of Laguna Vere.
• In front of the Justice House the road will be partially blocked and traffic movement will be allowed to the direction of Baratashvili Street.
