Ministry of Internal Affairs has immediately launched investigation on the fact of assault on four supporters of the “United National Movement” that took place in Fonichala, Tbilisi. The investigation is in progress on the fact of assault, the article 125 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
All necessary and legal measures are under way in order to identify and detain wrongdoer. Though it should be mentioned that supporters of the “United National Movement” are not cooperating with law enforcers.
Ministry would like to call to on political parties to abstain from provocative actions. Each person who violates the law will bear punished in accordance with the law.
