We would like to inform the public regarding another destructive and illegal action carried out by the participants of the rally.
The Public Safety Command Center 112 received a report on fire in the vicinity of "Gvino" cafe located near the Radisson Hotel on Republic Square.
Based on the received report, the firemen and rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service were moving in a fire truck, when demonstrators blocked the road and obstructed the firemen and rescuers from reaching the scene of the incident. Citizens hit the vehicle with their hands and various objects.
Herewith, participants of the rally were planning to open the tap of the water reservoir, due to which the firefighters were forced to empty the fire truck from the water themselves.
We would like to note once again that actions of rally participants went beyond any form of protest.
We warn the aggressive participants of the rally to stop illegal actions, and we also call on media representatives and each citizen to refrain from spreading false information.
