On April 8 of the current year, the employees of the Patrol Police Department were performing their official duties, when they noticed a car on the side of the roadway, the driver of which, upon seeing the police crew, started the engine, hit the side of the roadway and tried to escape.
The patrol inspectors repeatedly requested the car driver to adhere the legal request of the policemen. Despite numerous calls made by the police to keep the person calm, the drunk driver behaved aggressively.
After getting out of the vehicle, he threatened the patrol inspectors by killing, demonstrating cold weapons. In addition to the mentioned, he physically assaulted one of the police officers on the spot.
The mentioned person, who has been convicted for various crimes several times in the past, was arrested by the employees of the patrol police department.
The investigation is in progress under Article 353 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
