In accordance with the decisions and recommendations adopted by the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia and in order to prevent the spreading of the new coronavirus disease, Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is temporarily suspending access to certain services from March 20.
According to the new regulations, all theoretical and practical examinations for receiving driver license are canceled in all structural units of the Service Agency throughout Georgia.
-Citizens who booked the date of the theoretical exam will be able to be tested in the same branch of the agency within 30 calendar days without booking after services will be fully restored;
- Those who have successfully passed theoretical exams, will be able to undergo practical examination in the same branch of the agency within 30 calendar days without booking after services will be restored;
Procedures connected to the weapon registration are temporarily suspended as well.
As for the references issued by the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such as certificate on criminal record, the applications on receiving mentioned certificates will be submitted through the official web-page of the Agency (sa.gov.ge). The certificate will be available only at the branch indicated in the application. For receiving other services of the Agency, the application forms can be completed at the Service Agency Branches.
Starting from March 20, citizens will be able to apply to the Service Agency for customs clearance, re-export, export and registration procedures of the transportation means.
The service center branches of Akhalkalaki and Ambrolauri will also be temporarily unavailable for customers.
Herewith, the Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to call on citizens to abstain from visiting Service Agency branches and refrain from the accompanying persons except for the emergency cases if necessary.
The Agency once again warns citizens that due to the scheduled disinfection activities, all structural units of the Service Agency will suspend operation and will not be able to provide service to customers on 19, 24, 26 and 28 March of the current year.
