Due to the high public interest, Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to inform society regarding the fact that took place in “Green School”.
On December 10, 2019 based on the report received through Emergency Response Service 112, First Unit of Didube-Chugureti police division launched investigation on the fact of damaging the external wall of the school, crime envisaged by the article 187 of the Criminal Code.
The report to the emergency service was made by the school manager.
In connection with the mentioned criminal case, investigator, specialized in juvenile justice interviewed persons related to the case, including: author of the report - manager of the school security and juvenile in presence of his mother, who denied the fact of damaging school walls.
On the second day, December 11, under the initiative of the parent, juvenile re-appeared at the police unit along with his mother, however no additional information was provided to the police investigation; he left the building with his parent after 40 minutes.
The juvenile was not interviewed without his parent neither on first, nor the second day.
As for the investigation launched on the fact of incitement to suicide, the case is investigated by the State Inspector Service.
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia actively cooperates with State Inspector Service.
Requested files have already been transferred to the mentioned Agency.
