At 13:33 pm, Emergency Response Center 112 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received report that fire broke out on the Mtatsminda slope.
Fire-rescue teams of the Emergency Situations Management Agency arrived at the scene in the shortest period of time, at 13:38pm. Firefighters and special technic approached the fire pocket from two directions. Water supply is operatively provided from the existing hydrant. More than 50 firemen and up to 10 units of the special technic are deployed at the site. For effective fire-extinguishing reasons, the MIA helicopter has been involved in operation.
