The Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation which is in progress at the moment on the fact of Illegal access to computer information of the computer owned by the General Director of Rustavi 2 TV company Nika Gvaramia, owning to which the record depicting Gvaramia’s private conversation with Mamuka Akhvlediani has been illegally obtained and disseminated (crime envisaged under the article 284, I part and article 159, I and Ii parts of the Criminal Code).
On October 4, 2016 the record of the private conversation between Nika Gvaramia and Mamuka Akhvlediani was published on www.youtube.com where Nika Gvaramia makes promise to the acting judge to give particular share from 6 million.
In connection with the mentioned case Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau along with MIA Forensic Department jointly conducted special video expertise as a result of which it was concluded that video material is suitable for person identification, no trace of editing has been detected. Expertise determined that recorded voiced belong to Nika Gvaramia and Mamuka Akhvlediani, while the third person involved in conversation has not been identified so far. During the inquiry, Nika Gvaramia revealed the identity of the third person.
General Director of Rustavi2 TV Company was summoned for additional interrogation at the Ministry of Internal Affairs on February 14, 18:00pm in connection with the expertise results. As Nika Gvaramia is not going to appear at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and demants to be interrogated at the court, Ministry of Internal Affairs will petition the court to interrogate Gvaramia as witness at the court.
