Representatives of Police of the Republic of Armenia paying an official visit to Georgia visited the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Butkhuzi and the Director of the Service Agency - Besik Tepnadze hosted the Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia - Vahe Ghazaryan. The Director of the Agency familiarized the guests with the building of Rustavi Central Department of the Service Agency and provided comprehensive information about the existing services. Also, the guests got acquainted with the process of taking driving license theoretical and practical exams. At the end of the visit to the Agency, the Armenian law enforcement officers were given named number plates as a gift.
During the visit to Georgia, members of the Armenian police delegation visited the Public Safety Management Center "112" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Giorgi Arsoshvili, the Director of the Public Safety Management Center "112" briefed the guests about the current situation in the field of emergency management in Georgia. He also talked to the members of delegation about important projects implemented in the field of unified video surveillance system management and traffic safety across the country.
At the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the representatives of Police of the Republic of Armenia were hosted by the Deputy Ministers: Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Giorgi Butkhuzi, as well as by the Rector - Ivane Papiashvili. The guests got familiarized with the specifics of work process of the educational institution and its infrastructure. The members of delegation visited educational and physical training rooms, simulated border checkpoint, building of tactical training and shooting range.
