The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities on the fact of robbery detained in Zugdidi K.D (DoB: 1967). The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years in length.
The investigation established that in May of the current year the offender stole various items from one of the stores in Zugdidi. A few days later, K.D. robbed the house of one of the local citizens, in particular, jewelry and household items were stolen. The stolen items were seized by the law enforcers as material evidences.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of theft committed by illegally entering dwelling place, premises or any other storage facility (sub-clause “b” of the II part and sub-clause “c” of the III part of the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
