The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained two individuals for armed robbery and murder, that took place in Tsalka. The detainees are: several times convicted in past M.Sh. (DoB 1979) abd N.B. (DoB 1993).
The committed crime envisages from 8 to 15 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that late at night, detainees assaulted A.A. (DoB 1934) in his house located in Artsivani village and demanded cash. Due to the offered resistance, one of the attackers inflicted injuries with a blunt object to A.A. causing the victim’s death at the site. After the mentioned, detainees fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers arrested M.SH. and N.B. in Rustavi.
Investigation against M.SH. is in progress on the fact of armed robbery committed in group and premeditated murder, while N.B. is being accused of armed robbery committed in group. Investigation is in progress under the articles 108 and 179, II and III parts, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
