The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained B.G. (DoB 1991) for assault on policeman.
Investigation established that on May 15, B.G. on the basis of conflict inflicted multiple injuries with a cold steel to his colleague –Kh.Ts. (DoB 1987) and fled from the place of crime.
The wounded person was transferred to the hospital where he was rendered urgent medical aid. At this moment the victim’s health condition is stable with no threats to his life.
The weapon of crime was seized by police as evidence.
On the same day, during the investigative activities with regards to the upper mentioned case, detainee verbally and physically assaulted police officer at Sachkhere police division
Investigation against B.G. is in progress on the facts of assault on police and the attempted premeditated murder, article 353, part and article 19-108 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
