The officers of the General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with the General Inspection of the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, detained D.B. (DoB 1992) - Inspector-Investigator of Kvemo-Kartli Police Department, as a result of operative and investigative activities for accepting a bribe. D.B. was detained on the basis of the relevant court decision.
The committed crime envisaged from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that D.B. accepted bribe from the alleged defendant in exchange for dropping charges against him.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of accepting bribe, crime envisaged under Article 338, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
