The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department along with Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service, as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Turkish citizen S.E. (DoB 1969) in Batumi for drug-related crime.
Law enforcers detained S.E. when he sold 996 pills of amphetamine to a Turkish citizen in return for 10 000 USD.
Police managed to seize cash and drugs as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, IV ad VI parts envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
