The employees of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search measures and investigative activities, detained previously convicted in past and currently on probation - D.G. (DoB 2004) for premeditated murder and attempted murder of two or more persons.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, inflicted multiple injuries to four people in different parts of the body with a knife in Tbilisi. As a result of the injuries received, one person died shortly after being admitted to the hospital, while three persons are receiving appropriate medical care.
As a result of the conducted immediate, investigative activities, the law enforcement officers arrested the accused person.
The investigation is being carried out under subsection "L" of Article 19-109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
