The employees of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Adjara Police Department, as a result of joint operational measures and investigative actions, previously convicted N.M. (DoB 1986) wanted for inflicting severe health damage on purpose and illegal keeping-carrying and storing of firearms.
In July of the current year, the accused person - N.M. caused severe body injuries on purpose to the courier of one of the companies - T.S. by shooting from a firearm in both legs, and fled from the scene.
According to the decision of Tbilisi City Court, N.M. was sentenced to imprisonment in absentia as a preventive measure. The crime committed by him envisions up to 7 years of imprisonment.
The accused person was transferred to penitentiary facility.
