The Officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.N. (DoB 1992) for assaulting a police officer in connection with his official duties.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on April 4 of the current year, on King Parnavaz Street in Batumi, G.N. resisted the police officers who had arrived to respond to the violation of the law, during which the inspector-investigator of the Batumi Police Division, CH.A.(DoB 1980), received health injuries caused with a glass bottle. The injured law enforcer was taken to the clinic where he underwent appropriate treatment.
Police arrested G.N. in Batumi on the basis of the judge's decision.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the assault committed against a police officer in connection with his official duties, article 353, Part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
