The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division, the Special Affairs II Division of the Department of Special Affairs, Patrol Police and Security Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs donated blood within the scopes of the campaign “"Donate Blood - Save Life" for the children suffering from leukemia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking part in the mentioned campaign for the third year already. The employees of all units of the Ministry regularly donate their blood for the children suffering from leukemia via the “Blood bank”.
Blood donation campaign is permanently held in Tbilisi as well as in all regions of Georgia involving the employees from all divisions of the Ministry. The aim of participation in this campaign by the MIA is to reduce the deficit of blood and blood components needed for the children suffering from leukemia.
