In connection with Independence Day Ministry of Internal Affairs exhibited technic, armament and special equipment from various MIA units on Rustaveli Avenue. Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze visited exhibition on Rustaveli Avenue and viewed MIA exhibition, as well as other items presented by various Ministries.
Ministry of Internal Affairs exhibited 13 various armoured vehicles, including: Cobra, Wolf, Defender, Patrol Police vehicles- “Skoda Octavia, Mini Cooper, Ford, Pickup, motorcycle, scutiry police armoured vehicle, quadrocycles of Border Police, fire-fighting vehicle and snowmobile of Emergency Situations Management Department.
Mobile vehicle of MIA Forensic Division was also exhibited and fingerprint expertise was conducted on the site for viewers. Emergency Response Operative Center 112 exhibited: GPS trackers, enabling tourists to locate their whereabouts and “SoS” buttons, ensuring prompt reaction on emergency situations. Various armament of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was also exhibited in the special MIA tent.
